Marx's relevance to justice for all

Many nations claim to be democracies, even when they are not. The United States (US), the champion of imperialism, has the audacity to proclaim to be the "champion of democracy". Thus, Karl Marx is forever relevant, because most citizens, if not all, want to live in a democracy. Please click on this link for more: https://youtu.be/4c8qAYnLLec

Almost 40 million Americans today live in poverty, and 201 million more live from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are also Americans. 10% of Americans own 90% of the stock market, and 40% of Americans have no savings. Only 35% of Americans are satisfied with their multiparty so-called "democratic" political system.

The US Empire has consistently refused to comply with 43 United Nations' resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory (gentrification), and almost half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico also live in poverty. Bad Bunny made reference to Puerto Rico's colonial relationship with the US in his Super Bowl Halftime Show, which is the real reason why President Trump hated it!

The People's Republic of China, on the other hand, has eradicated poverty, despite having 11 trillion dollars less than the US, and having 4 times the US' population. Over 90% of Chinese are satisfied with their one party communist political system, which means that a real democracy needs a government strong enough to prevent oligarchs from running the nation.

Professor Wolff says that China could make a giant leap forward in perfecting her democracy by allowing the production of goods and services to be in the hands of the workers. China would reach full democracy, if the workers themselves decide what to do with the surplus.

Worker control surplus is democracy.
