El argumento principal de que la República Popular de China no es una democracia es que ella tiene solo un partido político. Estados Unidos (EEUU), obviamente, es una democracia, porque tiene varios partidos políticos que sus ciudadanos pueden escoger.
Aunque EEUU tiene dos partidos principales, ambos solamente representan a la oligarquía. Sabemos eso, porque casi 40 millones de americanos viven en la pobreza, y otros 201 millones más viven de cheque a cheque, mientras que 9 de los 10 hombres más ricos del mundo son americanos también. Por lo tanto, EEUU, en esencia, tiene solo un partido también para representar a los ricos.
El Partido Comunista de China representa el 100% de sus ciudadanos. China ha erradicado la pobreza, a pesar de tener 4 veces más población que EEUU, y tener 11 trillones de dólares menos en Producto Interno Bruto que EEUU. Mientras que solo el 35% de los americanos están satisfechos con su gobierno, sobre el 90% de los chinos están satisfechos con él suyo. ¿Quién es realmente el campeón de la democracia?
Ciertamente, EEUU no es una democracia por sus propias acciones. EEUU ha consistentemente ignorado 43 resoluciones de la Organización de Naciones Unidas exigiendo la devolución inmediata de la soberanía de Puerto Rico a los puertorriqueños. Mientras tanto, 6 millones de puertorriqueños han abandonado su territorio nacional (gentrificación), y casi la mitad de los 3 millones de personas en Puerto Rico viven en la pobreza también. EEUU, sin embargo, dice engañosamente que apoya el derecho inalienable de Taiwán a su autodeterminación e independencia, solo porque quiere tener una guerra con China.
¿Cómo puede EEUU ser una democracia?

How could the US be a democracy?
