Why did the United States (US), after 50 years, decide to make a u-turn on globalization, and adopt American nationalism? Please click on this link to get the whole story: https://youtu.be/QpY4xQk9_8I
The story is not the one that the US government wants to sell to the world about it being the champion of democracy. The story is about the US being, instead, the champion of imperialism!
Even if the 3% of Americans manages to re-industrialize the US, they will once again try to pay the American workers as little as they can get away with.
After half a century of US de-industrialization, almost 40 million Americans today live in poverty, and another 201 million more live from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are also Americans. The bottom half of Chinese today live two times better than the bottom half of Americans.
Today, 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory (gentrification), and almost half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico live in poverty, due to her colonial relationship with the US. The US has consistently refused to comply with 43 United Nations' resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. Under international law, that is a crime against humanity!
The US, however, has the audacity to deceptively claim that it supports Taiwan's inalienable right to self-determination and independence, only because it wants to try to justify a war against the People's Republic of China in order to colonize her too!
"America First" and "Globalization" in the 1970 mean US imperialism forever!
