The US is an oligarchy

The reason is because the US isn't a democracy. The US is governed for only 3% of its citizens. 

That is why the US was the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic.

That is why almost 40 million Americans live today in poverty, and another 201 million more live from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are also Americans. 

That is why the US has consistently refused to comply with 43 United Nations resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. In the meantime, 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory (gentrification}, and almost half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico also live in poverty. 

That is why the US has the audacity to deceptively claim that it supports Taiwan's inalienable right to self-determination and independence, only because it wants to try to justify a war against the People's Republic of China in order to colonize her too!

That is why the US is unconditionally supporting the genocide against the indigenous people of Palestine against international law.

And, that is why today President Trump is planning to save Argentina's economy, instead of saving 97% of its own citizens. The US wants to help Argentina, because US oligarchs want to make money from its resources. 

Isn't it interesting though that when the government debates helping its own citizens, the question that is always asked is, "How are we going to pay for it?" But for Argentina, the money is available. That money will come from US taxpayers. Thus, the US hates socialism for its own citizens, but not for its oligarchs!
