Please join us on Monday, June 23, 2014 from 9 AM to 6 PM at the United Nations (across from 44th Street) for a peaceful Protest.

We are protesting:

1.  116 years that Puerto Rico has been a colony of the United States in violation to international law that considers said political relationship to be a crime against humanity.

2.  The fact that the United States government has thus far ignored 32 United Nations (UN) Resolutions asking it to immediately decolonize Puerto Rico.  These resolutions are approved by over 90% of the UN.

3.  The hypocrisy of President Obama's admiration of Nelson Mandela, but he stubbornly refuses to release from prison our Puerto Rican political prisoner Oscar López Rivera of 33 years for doing exactly what Mandela did.

4.  That United States government does not believe in justice for all, after the historical fact that it has had Puerto Rico as its colony for 116 years.

We will need a tsunami of people to force the US government to comply with the 32 UN resolutions.  We hope to see you there!
