Puerto Rico’s problem is the United States (US) government.  The US government has unilaterally orchestrated the events that have led to the crises that Puerto Ricans face today. 

The United States government, however, has never had a crisis with regards to Puerto Rico.  You see, Puerto Rico has been its colony for the past 117 years.  Puerto Rico has been exploited, like colonies are supposed to be.  Why else have a colony?  This is why the US government will never help Puerto Rico.  That is not the essence of its relationship with her. 

Nelson Denis, the author of WAR AGAINST ALL PUERTO RICANS, does an excellent job connecting the dots, so that his readers could understand how Puerto Rico got to this point.  So what is the solution for Puerto Ricans?

The solution is the same solution that the 192 countries that make up the United Nations (UN) chose.  Puerto Rico needs her independence.

The US government commits an international crime by violating Puerto Ricans human rights by maintaining us under its colonial rule.  Join us in 3 protests a year to force the US government to comply with the 34 UN resolutions asking it to decolonize immediately Puerto Rico.  We must protest, because those who have done what Denis’ described in his article, don’t believe in JUSTICE FOR ALL!
