Nuestra descolonización no dependerá de la ONU
o del gobierno de Estados Unidos (EEUU). ¡Nosotros somos los únicos que
podríamos empujarla! Pero para eso, será imprescindible que conozcamos
nuestra verdadera historia. La mayoría de los puertorriqueños no la saben. ¿Por
qué?
El imperio solo enseña en sus escuelas lo que le
conviene. Si se nos enseñaría lo que nos conviene, EEUU tendría una revolución
en sus manos. Sabríamos entonces de los abusos que hemos sufridos por nuestra
relación colonial ilegal actual. Esa indignación se traduciría en una
resistencia. Y Con 36 resoluciones de la ONU pidiéndole que le entregue
inmediatamente la soberanía de Puerto Rico a los puertorriqueños, EEUU estaría
obligado hacerlo.
¡Un tsunami de gente será necesario para obligar al
imperio a cumplir con estas resoluciones, porque los que insisten que tener
colonias es un asunto interno no creen en la JUSTICIA PARA TODOS!

Our
decolonization will not depend on the UN, or the United States (US) government.
We are the only ones who could push that! But to do so, it will be
necessary to know our real history.
The majority of Puerto Ricans don’t. Why?
The empire
only teaches us in its schools what benefits it. If the empire were to teach us what benefits
us, it would have a revolution in its hands. We would then be aware of the abuses
we have suffered due to our current illegal colonial relationship. That
indignation would translate into resistance. And with 36 UN resolutions
asking the US government to immediately give Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the
Puerto Ricans, it would have to do so.
A tsunami of
people will be indispensable, because those who say that having colonies is an
internal affair don’t believe in JUSTICE FOR ALL!
