This Puerto Ricans says he has no idea why the
organizers of the National New York City (NYC) Puerto Rican Day Parade are
honoring on Sunday, June 11, 2017, Oscar López Rivera. All he knows is what the he is reading from
an article produced by the 1%. He is unaware that the 1% wants to continue
exploiting Puerto Rico.
He doesn’t realize that that 1% has shaped his mind to
be oblivious to what the United States government has done to Puerto Rico for
the past 120 years. He asks for somebody
to tell him why the parade’s organizers are ruining the parade for him. I suggest that he begin with reading, WAR
AGAINST ALL PUERTO RICANS by Nelson A. Denis.
He is surprised the all the big companies that sponsor
the parade are pulling out. This tells
me the he is ignorant of history. Of
course, the 1 percent will pull out, because it has been the one for over a
century has benefitted enormously from having us colonized. Why do you think there are more Puerto Ricans
living out than in our national territory?
