Boricuas have no government

The so-called Resident Commissioner of Puerto Rico, Jenniffer González Colón, represents the United States (US) government, and not Puerto Ricans. Please click on the following link to see that for yourself: https://youtu.be/kuPRXAEwANI

Jenniffer does not know her history. She only knows the propaganda fed to Boricuas throughout 125 years of US colonialism.

Jenniffer starts her one minute discourse in the US house of Representative by rejecting the United Nations (UN) call for Puerto Rico independence. She says that the UN’s Decolonization Committee does not have jurisdiction in this matter, despite the UN’s Charter explicitly stating the contrary.

The fact of the matter is that the US is committing a crime against humanity by not complying with a total of 42 (counting the June 23rd) UN resolutions asking her to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.

Jennifer accuses Cuba, Nicaragua, Russia, Syria and Venezuela, who she says are among the worst human rights violators and undemocratic regimes, to be the ones supporting Puerto Rico independence. The world, however, is that considers the US, and not the nations Jenniffer mentioned, to be the biggest threat to peace. The US, ironically, claims to support Taiwan’s independence! Is Jenniffer saying that the US is also a human rights violator and undemocratic?

Jenniffer says that the US has the ultimate responsibility to determine Puerto Rico’s political status. She must, therefore, believe that the militarily invader is the only one that has the legal authority to decolonize Puerto Rico. Jenniffer is obviously unaware that all nations have the inalienable right to self-determination and independence.

Jenniffer says that Puerto Rico is under the US Constitution. If that were true, the US could not have discriminated against Puerto Ricans to the point whereby two thirds of Puerto Ricans today live away from our national territory. And, half of the one third who have refused to abandon our homeland live in poverty.

Jenniffer mentioned that Puerto Ricans have expressed our desire to become a state of the US in democratic elections. That is a lie, since democratic elections are impossible in a colony!

US has refused to decolonize Puerto Rico, because Puerto Rico is a great business for US oligarchs. Puerto Rico isn’t poor. She has been made poor, by the US robbing her since 1898. And, the US will continue to do so, until Boricuas learn our real history, and the 9 million of us worldwide engage in permanent resistance to force the US to comply with international law.

Boricuas have the ultimate right to decide our future!
