How could a nation that calls itself the champion of democracy insists on a win-lose relation with the rest of the nations in the world?

The US even has a win-lose relationship with its own citizens! Almost 40 million Americans live in poverty today, and another 201 million more live from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are Americans too. Only 35% of Americans are satisfied with their so-called "democracy". Therefore, only the 1% of Americans win, and the rest of them lose!

Moreover, the US has consistently refused to comply with 43 United Nations' resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. In the meantime, 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory (gentrification), and almost half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico live in poverty too!

Will the global majority repudiate 200 years of institutionalized imperialism, and demand that real democracy be first?
