Western democracy is an illusion

The United States (US) accuses the People's Republic of China of being a tyrant, because she has only one political party. The Chinese Communist Party, however, has eradicated poverty, despite having 4 times the US' population, and 11 trillion dollars less in Gross Domestic Product than the US. Over 90% of Chinese are satisfied with their government. Is China's government for all of its citizens?

On the other hand, the US, the so-called "champion of democracy" has today almost 40 million Americans living in poverty, and another 201 million more living from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are also Americans. Only 35% of Americans are satisfied with their government. Obviously, the US' government is only for its oligarchs!

Moreover, the US has consistently refused to comply with 43 United Nations' resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. In the meantime, 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory (gentrification), and almost half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico live in poverty too. And yet, the US has the audacity to claim that it supports Taiwan's inalienable right to self-determination and independence! Obviously, the US is an empire.

And, the best example that western democracy is an illusion is the fact that it is today unconditionally supporting the genocide against the indigenous people of Palestine against international law. 

The West has never been a democracy!
