The United States (US) started the war against Russia in Ukraine, because it never wanted peace. The US never wanted to satisfy Russia's legitimate national security concerns.

The US lies about being the champion of democracy. Almost 40 million Americans live today in poverty, and another 201 million more live from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are Americans too.
President Mckinley lied in his 1900 re-election campaign when he said, "The American flag has not been planted in foreign soil to acquire more territory but for humanity's sake." Is it for humanity's sake that the US has maintained Puerto Rico as its colony for the past 127 years?
The US has consistently refused to comply with 43 United Nations' resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. In the meantime, 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory (gentrification), and almost half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico live in poverty too!
