The United States (US) is anxious to go to war against Venezuela in order to try to maintain its hegemony. Will the People's Republic of China, with her billions of dollars invested in Venezuela, allow the US to defeat her militarily? Today, the US is like Spain was during the Spanish American War of 1898. Spain was a declining empire, while the US was a rising one. Spain lost to the US Puerto Rico, Cuba, Guan and the Philippines.
Puerto Rico is still today a US colony, despite the US' claim of being the "champion of democracy". The US has consistently refused to comply with 43 United Nations' resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. In the meantime, 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory (gentrification), and almost half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico live in poverty.
China, with her one party communist political system, eradicated poverty, despite having 4 times the US' population, and having 11 trillion dollars less in Gross Domestic Product than the US. Are you aware that today the bottom half of Chinese live two times better than the bottom half of Americans? No wonder while only 35% of Americans are satisfied with their government, over 90% of Chinese are satisfied with theirs!
The global majority wants a real democratic world order, which the US and its allies have been obsessively sabotaging. Therefore, the better question is, will the world defend democracy?
Will the world defend democracy?
