US: the champion of protectionism

The United States (US) advocated since the 1990's for global free trade and competition, when the world order was unipolar. Today, with the emergence of the multipolar world order, the US has suddenly become the champion of protectionism. The US, today, can no longer compete in the global free market! Imposing tariffs on everybody, even on its allies, is isolating the US Empire. More and more nations want to be a part of BRICS, and to de-dollarize in order to avoid US economic sanctions.

This is causing higher unemployment and inflation in the US. Already, almost 40 million Americans are living in poverty, and another 201 million more are living from paycheck to paycheck. The bottom half of Chinese today are living 2 times better than the bottom half of Americans!

Six million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory, and almost half of the people in Puerto Rico live in poverty too, after 127 years of US colonialism.

People are realizing that the US is obsessed with maintaining its empire forever, as it continues to ignore 43 United Nations' resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. And yet, the US deceptively claims to support Taiwan's right to self-determination and independence. 

The US continues to unconditionally support the genocide against the indigenous people of Palestine against international law.

The fact that 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens means that the US has never been a democracy. US Major General Smedley Butler realized that, and wrote a book about it in 1935 called, "WAR IS A RACKET".

The US is a racket!
