Not all United States (US) leaders want democracy, and unfortunately, that is also true of African leaders. Click on this link to know which African leaders want democracy, and who wants special privileges for themselves: https://youtu.be/mzJIT-Gb48A
We know that the US is not a democracy, because almost 40 million Americans live in poverty, and another 201 million more live from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are also Americans.
We know that the US does not defend human rights, because it has consistently refused to comply with 43 United Nations resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory (gentrification), and almost half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico also live in poverty.
Not all Puerto Ricans want democracy either. Half of the Puerto Ricans want Puerto Rico to become the 51st state of the Union. They argue that that would give Puerto Ricans equality. But the uproar that many Americans are expressing about Bad Bunny being the halftime show at the Super Bowl reflects the historical racism that has maintained Puerto Rico as a US colony for the past 127 years. Why can't all Puerto Ricans see that?
And, we know that the US has never respected the rule of law, because today it is unconditionally supporting the genocide against the indigenous people of Palestine aganist international law. Those African leaders that rejected President Traore's call for unity, nevertheless, claim that the US defends liberty and justice for all.
The US only defends its empire!
