Will US learn from China?

The United States (US) will never learn from the People's Republic of China, because it has never been interested in democracy. The first thing that the English colonists did was to commit genocide against the indigenous people of North America in order to create their artificial colonial settler state. While almost 40 million Americans live today in poverty, and another 201 million more live from paycheck to paycheck, 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are also Americans. 

China, on the other hand, has eradicated poverty, despite having 4 times the US' population, and having 11 trillion dollars less in Gross Domestic Product than the US. The bottom half of Chinese today live two times better than the bottom half of Americans. How could the US be the champion of democracy?

How could the US respect the rule of law, when it has consistently refused to comply with 43 United Nations resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans?

In the meantime, 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory (gentrification}, and almost half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico also live in poverty. The US, however, has the audacity to deceptively claim that it supports Taiwan's inalienable right to self-determination and independence, only because it wants to try to justify a war against China in order to colonize her too!

China has nothing to teach a "nation" that wants to govern for only 3% of its citizens.
