The United States (US) Empire is rapidly collapsing in front of our eyes, because it only represents 3% of its citizens. The US, therefore, has resistance from people within and out of the US. When will the pain be enough to get 97% of Americans to insist that their nation must become a real democracy?

Today, almost 40 million Americans live in poverty, and another 201 million more live from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are Americans too. The bottom half of Chinese today live 2 times better than the bottom half of Americans!

The US has consistently refused to comply with 43 United Nations resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. Nevertheless, the US has the audacity to claim that it supports Taiwan's inalienable right to self-determination and independence, only because it wants to try to justify a war against the People's Republic of China in order to colonize her too!

The West has a long history of imperialism. Can it ever become democratic for the sake of humanity?
