US has never protected its citizens

Why should anybody believe that the US is really interested in defending its citizens, after George Floyd was murdered by a white police officer? The US apparently believes that its propaganda might be more acceptable being delivered by a black man, as if the US were not racist!

Why should anybody believe that the US is really interested in defending its citizens, when everyone saw that the US was the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic?

Why should anybody believe that the US is really interested in defending its citizens, when almost 40 million Americans today live in poverty, and another 201 million more live from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are also Americans. 

And, why should anybody believe that the US really wants to defend its citizens, when we know that the US has consistently refused to comply with 43 UN resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory (gentrification), and almost half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico also live in poverty. 

However, the US audaciously and deceptively claims today that it suddenly supports Taiwan's inalienable right to self-determination and independence, only because it wants to try to justify going to war against the People's Republic of China to colonize her too!

The US only protects imperialism!
