Europe faces an existential threat

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization's (NATO) intention to include Ukraine as its new member has turned into an existential threat for Europe. President Putin argues that NATO has always been an offensive organization that consistently violates international law, and uses force to accomplish its political objectives. Imperialism has been the ugly history of the West, while claiming today to be a democracy.

The United States (US), of all nations, proclaims to be the champion of democracy, although the world has long considered it to be the biggest threat to peace. The US, however, is the undisputed champion of imperialism, and fake news!

How could the US be a democracy, when today almost 40 million Americans live in poverty, and 201 million more live from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are Americans too. Only 35% of Americans are satisfied with their multiparty "democratic" political system. On a school test, 35% is a big fat "F"!

And, how could the People's Republic of China be a dictatorship, as the US claims, when she  eradicated poverty 5 years ago, despite having 4 times the US' population, and having 11 trillion dollars less than the US. Over 90% of Chinese are satisfied with their one party communist political system! People know what real democracy is!

The US Empire has shown consistent contempt for the rule of law by refusing to comply with 43 United Nations resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory (gentrification), and almost half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico live in poverty too.

The West has been an existential threat to humanity!
