US opposes global democratization

Why are almost 40 million Americans today living in poverty, and 201 million more living from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are Americans too?

Have you ever wondered why the United States (US) has 800 military bases around the world? It needs them for its war on democracy.

US Major General Smedley Butler explained this in his 1935 book, WAR IS A RACKET. He discussed how the US uses war to make profit for US corporations. He alerted the government in 1933 about a group of oligarchs planning to overthrow President Roosevelt, because they did not want to pay for his New Deal Policy. No one, however, was ever prosecuted!

US President Eisenhower also warned Americans about losing democracy via the US military industrial complex in his farewell address in 1961. Americans didn't listen!

The US, while also claiming to defend human rights, has consistently refused to comply with 43 United Nations resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory (gentrification), and almost half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico live in poverty too.

The US' biggest enemy, the People's Republic of China, however, eradicated poverty 5 years ago, despite having 4 times the US' population, and having 11 trillion dollars less than the US. Over 90% of Chinese are satisfied with their one party communist political system! 

Capitalists have always hated communism!
