UN’s 32nd Resolution asking the US to decolonize Puerto Rico

Special Committee on Decolonization Approves Text Calling upon United States to Initiate Self-determination Process for Puerto Rico

Click on the link to read the United Nations’ (UN) summary of its hearing on June 17th, 2013 about the decolonization of Puerto Rico.

The UN issued its 32nd resolution asking the government of the United States of America (USA) to immediately decolonize Puerto Rico.  The USA has ignored these resolutions thus far.

This is why all those who believe that colonialism is a crime against humanity must join 2 peaceful protests 2 times a year until Puerto Rico is decolonize!  The first one will be on March 22, 2014 (Abolition of Slavery Day) outside the USA Courthouse in Puerto Rico.  The second one will be on the Monday after Fathers’ Day outside the United Nations on the same day that it annually holds a hearing on the decolonization of Puerto Rico.

Since the US government reuses to abide by international law, we must continuously protest peacefully until Puerto Rico decolonization is accomplished.  Without protest, it will never happen, because those who practice or accept colonialism don’t believe in justice for all.
