Shouldn’t lawyers know who has jurisdiction for decolonization?

Fortuño ¡El Plebiscito Va Puerto Rico! El Status "Causa de Nuestros Males" - YouTube

This video will show you the present governor of Puerto Rico (PR) supporting his government's intention to ask the residents of PR if they want to remain a territory (colony).

The governor, who is a lawyer, must know that colonialism is illegal under international law.  The government asking, "Do you want to be a slave?" would be also equally as unlawful!

This is why decolonization is left to an international organization, and not to the country that holds a colony.

We agree that Puerto Rico must be decolonized, but the governor's way will never make it happen!

We look forward to meeting you on June 2012!
